This form allows the insertion of new lessor records into the database. It does not allow for the modification of existing records. They may be carried out in the GeeDee Desktop.
The new lessor's unique ID number is automatically allocated. Lessor ID numbers, which have been archived or deleted, are not reused.
Note that the name must be entered Surname First (with a comma after the surname) so that the name can be used to list lessors in alphabetical order. The transposition will be carried out automatically by the program if either:
|•||The name starts with a Title (e.g. Mr., Mrs., Dr. etc.)|
|•||The Attached button is clicked.|
When the program uses the name in a letter or a statement, the name will be transposed back to its correct position.
|•||Enter the data into the fields on the form. Use the hints if an explanation of a field is required.|
|•||Click on the Post button and the record will be saved in the database.|
When a new Lessor has been created, usually, a new property record is required. After a confirmation dialog, the program will chain to the New Property form.
To cancel the creation of a new record, close the form before the Posting.
When creating a Commercial lessor a new page for the additional information will appear.
Note that this form contains only the minimum fields required. You may need to add in additional information in the Lessor Details tab.
