The Borland Database Engine (BDE) is found on many computers.  It's installed when you install programs like Delphi, C++ Builder, Paradox, Goldmine and Corel Office Suite. This page is if your relocating your main GeeDee File Server to another File Server and your need to remove the BDE. Remember, there should only be one!

Location of the BDE (Borland Database Engine) & PDOXUSRS.NET

During installing, have you made a backup of the GeeDee Data folders or copied them to another location?

Please remove all duplicate folders and files of the \BDE\ and it  communication files.

- \Program Files\Common Files\Borland Shared\BDE\
- \PDOXUSRS.NET

Remember, there should only be one and all duplicates must be removed!

Steps to Remove BDE

Proceed with Caution!

1: Locate the current BDE's folder. You'll usually find this in one of two places:

_:\Program Files\Common Files\Borland Shared\BDE
