Creating and editing users in the GDMS program is a simple process.
The Settings tab will only be visible when an operator logs on as the designated GDMS Administrator.
The Administrator can set up and edit users and their passwords, as well assign permissions to each user.
The functions that can be carried out in Settings are as follows:
|•||User Management - Create and edit GDMS Users|
|•||User Permissions - Create a level of access for each User|
|•||Save Changes - Save Changes after editing Users and Permissions|
|•||Group Management - Create and edit User Groups|
|•||Backup - Access and copy GDMS backups|
|•||Update GDMS - Check for updates to the GDMS program|
|•||Server Settings - View GDMS Server settings (View settings only - Changes can only be made by logging onto the GDMS Server)|
