Updating the GDMS is an automated process that is carried out by the GDMS Server which automatically checks online for updates.
When logging in to GDMS, if there is an update available, the user will be prompted to allow the update to run.
NOTE: Updating GDMS using the automated updater is the recommended method.
If you are logged on to the GDMS client as "Administrator", it is possible to check for updates to the GDMS server software from within the program.
Simply click on the "Settings" drop down menu, then click on the "Check" button.
The "Check" button will change colour and will remain hi-lighted until GDMS has finished checking.
If there is an update available the "Update" button will become available.
Ensure all users are logged off the GDMS system.
Click on the "Update" button and follow the instructions on the update screen shown below.
